Hi!
I am a mother of two who has recently gone back to work after almost a two year maternity leave and my desire to be the corporate-working-mom is just not there anymore.
My two daughters (1 year and 8 years) are very outgoing and sociable children. I live in a beauitiful part of Southeast Vancouver called Champlain Heights located conveniently just in from Southeast Marine Drive and Boundary Road. Champlain Heights is a pocketed away community of loving families and friendly faces. On my two years off I have been an active part of my older daughter\'s annex school (grades K-3) and within it is a Strong Start/Family Place drop-in for children of all ages. Located beside the school is a community centre. I\'ve also been an active participant in going to many activities with both my children there. It\'s been a great way to stay connected to other mothers and their children and it has greatly benifitted both my children in their social skills.
I am eagerly looking forward to providing this same attention to social development, outdoor activites, endless learning possibilities both in the home and outside in the community, as well as a safe and relaxed home experience for your children.
My rates are very reasonable. I feel that food choices and scheules vary so much family by family that these two topics will be discussed and agreed on between us so there is not any disruption to what you practice at home.
I am available for the start of September but can make arrangments for earlier if needed.
