Our students have reputation of being not only talented but also excellent people. We get feedback from casting and agents on this all them time. We think this is because we don\'t just teach how to hit your mark and go after your objective. We teach personal analysis, emotional connection and we are UNRELENTING in this.

Our style requires that we know our students well and have small classes. Our main goal is to teach award-winning caring young artists and we achieve that by this method.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Founder and Senior Education Advisor at Young Screen Actors Academy, Kirsten Clarkson (KC) has been coaching Vancouver\'s top young actors for almost 20 years. Her students book everything from actor to leading roles.

She has coached hundreds of actors who have booked everything from Oscar winning features (ALMOST FAMOUS) to blockbusters like WATCHMEN & I ROBOT and series like ICARLY and VICTORIOUS plus countless locally shot films and TV series.

She has worked as an actor, writer, director, development executive, casting director and talent agent. Kirsten was a mentor for young women at the YWCA and sponsors Women in Film, New Westminster Home Learners and Seycove School.

Kirsten is proud to have been nominated for the award for Cultural Diversity in Business Award.
