If you are looking for a fantastic singing teacher try Maryse (http://www.maryse.org). I started from scratch, have never taken a singing lesson before. I cannot believe it! I have only taken 4 singing lessons and my range already increased an octave!
She is very well versed in all kinds of genres, plays piano really well and can choose songs that are right for your voice. I take a lesson with her every 3 days as her rates are dirt cheap when you buy a package.
I am so happy with her that I want to tell the world!!
