THIS BEGINNER ACTING CLASS introduces kids to all aspects of acting through scripts sourced from locally shot film and TV series or scripts specifically designed to teach a particular lesson.
Through games, exercises and scripted work young actors will learn:

KIRSTEN CLARKSON Founder and Artistic Director, Kirsten Clarkson has been coaching Vancouver's top young actors for almost 20 years. Her students book everything from actor to leading roles.
She has coached hundreds of actors who have booked everything from Oscar winning features (ALMOST FAMOUS) to blockbusters like WATCHMEN & I ROBOT and series like ICARLY and VICTORIOUS plus countless locally shot films and TV series.
Kirsten is proud to have been nominated for the 2007 award for Cultural Diversity in Business.
JULIAN LEBLANC In addition to being selected to present at the 2011 LEO AWARDS and his work in THE HAUNTING HOUR, The CW's HELLCATS (recurring) and the USA Network's FAIRLY LEGAL (among many other credits). Julian has produced award show nominee, SUNDAY'S CHILD.
Julian's work in the critically acclaimed feature film JUDAS KISS has taken him to film festivals all over North America. Outside of his prominent role in the film and television community in Vancouver he founded, GOSSIP BOY, a booming entertainment website.
Julian has taught at prestigious performing arts schools across Canada for 6 years. He loves sharing his knowledge and passion with others and pushes his students to be the best performers they can possibly be.
Julian is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts and is very proud to be teaching at Young Screen Actors Academy.
