Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years with Quick Books. Construction industry exposure would be a big plus.
Education: At least High School
Skills: Working knowledge of financial accounting with expertise in Quick Books. The candidate’s ability to prepare accounting reports should not be limited to those generated by Quick Books. The candidate must possess adequate innovative skills in Microsoft Excel to meet special reporting requirements.
Job Description: Primary responsibility is to help maintain books of accounts in quick books which will translate into tasks like input of invoices and purchase order. Secondary responsibilities would be that relating to office administration such as answering phones calls, get mail, ensuring stock levels of office supplies etc.
Person Specification: The ideal candidate for this position would be someone with a disciplined mental approach of an accountant with the ability to understand and follow structured instructions. The candidate must be able to fit into the highly customer service oriented culture of the organization. Excellent organizational and communications skills are a must.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Physically demanding.
Future prospects: Career advancement possibilities with in the organization include transfer to design or sales department with pay out rates as high as $30 per hour if certain external factors are fulfilled.
