Description
Acting classes can only take you so far. At the end of the day, without on-camera experience, that acting demo reel will sit unchanged. Why not guarantee yourself in a substantial role in a short film?
After brief auditions, story lessons, and a pitch session, a script is written by the kids, mentored by an award winning director. The script is then filmed over two days with the young actors in all the roles... except for one. One scene will be written to include a professional actor. The kids will be able to work for half a day with a working professional actor to improve their craft as well as receive a DVD copy of their very own short 10 minute film with themselves in the credits.
BreakOut Role Film Workshops is now accepting entrants into the 2009-2010 year program.
