our client, one of canada’s largest law firms, is seeking a legal assistant to work inthe litigation group of theirresource team.docketing, opening and closing files, billing, administrative and general ofifce duties
• perform administrative duties with respect to accounting,
duties and responsibilities:
• transcribe and type legal documents
• organize and expedite flow of work
• route or answer correspondence
• commuincate with clinets
• schedule meetings
• perform clerical, etc.marketing & human resources professionals within a vast range of industry sectors, able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
• motivated to excel and open to working outside area of expertise, administration, with excellent interpersonal sklils
• independent worker, it professionals,
• assistant other assistants and laweyrs during slower periods
• other duties as assigned
skills & requirements:
• legal assistant diploma prefrered
• legal experience and knowledge of law firm practices and procdeures preferred
• profiicency in ms office
• abiilty to communicate in a professional manner with clients and lawyers
• storng organiaztional skills and time management skills
• detail-oriented individual with good proofreading skills
• excellent multi-tasking skills
