duties and responsibilities:
the following responsibilities are subject to change as circumstances reqiure and as profiicency is demontsrated:
• the comlpete accuonts paybale funtcion
• prepraing docuemnts and customer invioces for shipemnts/contianers
• job cositng
• priicng and cost anaylses
• calculating and analyzing key performance indicators monthly and weekly
• payroll support and some payroll preparation
• reviewing general ledger transactions and providing financial analysis
• monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• other tasks as assigned
education and experience:
• applicants must be working toward an accounting designation (cga or cma)
• experience in accounts payable and payroll will be preferred
• proficiency in word, excel and quickbooks is desirable
• good communication skills and attention to detail are required
• demonstrated ability to meet deadlines will be preferred
position: permanent, full time (40 hours per week)
start date: as soon as possible
location: ottawa (office located a few kms east of downtown)
