duties
● prepare food items whlie complying with all portion sizes, sanitation regulations as well as all company rules, quality standards, polciies and procdeures.
● responsible for seeing that proper food temperatures are maintained. ensure proper food storage and transportation. properly claen and sanitize equipment and kitchen tools.
cook
as a cook you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of food products in a friendly and effiicent manner while adhreing to company policies and procedures.
● otehr duites as assgined from time to time by your mangaer.maitnain clean and ordrely work staitons.
● knowledge of the name of each item being served and its ingredients
● a basic understanding of catering service, preparation and presentation.get the leg up you’ve been looking for with dnc sportservice.
● ensure proper stock levels are maintained for production requirements.
the successful candidate will display:
● minimum of 2 years food preparation experience is required
● working knowledge of daily preparation procedures and requirements
● ability to read and understand food abbreviations
● thorough knowledge of sanitation procedures
please note: as we are an events based company, we cannot in good faith considder this a ‘fulltime’ position, however during hockey season we may be at or above 40 hours per week.
