Reporting to the Training Coordinator, the Mill Trainer will be responsible for scheduling and providing training for the Mill personnel at Vanscoy Potash Operations.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Develop equipment and safety training programs for the Mill.
* Set-up and maintain training schedules.
* Conduct training activities and evaluations for the Mill employees (union and staff).
* Manage individual and professional development training of employees.
* Coordinate training materials, location logistics, record keeping, reports and other tasks as assigned.
* Provide on-site and new hire orientation training as needed.
* Promote safety in all training sessions and discussions with employees.
Qualifications of the position include:
* Good working knowledge of the Mill operations.
* High School Diploma.
* Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point applications would be an asset.
This position is located at the Agrium\'s Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, Potash Mine facility.  Vanscoy Potash Operations (VPO) is located approximately 33 kilometers southwest of Saskatoon.
VPO produces four sizes of high quality potash for shipment to markets around the world. The ore body is one kilometer below the surface. An extensive network of underground roads takes workers to the mine faces and various shops. This operation directly employs over 550 people in both the surface and underground operations.
