do you like working with numbers? are you analytical? working as a rates and priicng analyst will allow you to take your love for numbers and your analytical sklils and apply that knowledge directly within our transport operation team. familiar with link logistics and truck mate.utilize ms execl to summarize and analyze data (operational parameters, profitability)
development of standardized costing and pricing templates for spot quotes and new business quotes. familiar with ltl & truckload rates.e. driver costs, agent and interline costs, dock costs.
complete costing of accounts to ensure profitability.
maintenance of cost data bases for pricing components, i.
must have knowledge of rates and rate structures.
you will also be responsible for:
audit rates in the comupter system in order to determine profitability of individual shipments, commodities or locations/lanes, accounts.

minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role in asset based transport environment. this is to be completed to assist the rates manager and traffic department.
