we are currently recruiting for the following position in our calgary office:
compensation manager
reporting to the senior director, total rewards.
demonstrated experience in influencing others to resolve complex and highly sensitive compensation issues.challenging work environment where new procseses, relationships are established to support the delivery of our total rewards programs and in turn meet our corporate goals and objectives,
the compensation manager functions in a dynamic, programs.this may include participation in the hr&cc meetings.
provide day to day oversight and support the development of the compensation team.
leading and consulting on special projects as required, including acquisition integration.superior excel skills are a must.
strong working knowledge of compensation philosophy, practices and policies.collaboration, integrity, leadership and quality, agrium’s high performance culture encourages an environment of accountability.

design, implementation and maintenance in all elements of compensation, long-term incentives, short-term incentives, including base pay, perquisites and otehr compensation arrangements.members of visible minoirties and aborgiinal canaidans,

oversight of job evalaution processes ensuring intrenal eqiuty and makret aligmnent as well as glboal job levleing.leaedrs and the hr service center regarding compensation matters,
providing ongoing consultation and subject-matter expertise to hr business partners, programs, including related policies, practices and administration.
significant experience in using systems to extract, analyze and report data (experience with sap hr preferred).a demonstrated ability to address issues and devise solutions with creativity and innovation.
preparation of the annual management proxy circular, as well as supporting all executive compensation, including the development and implementation of governance best practices.
